The Scipioneers Journal of Science and Technology (SJST) maintains a strict policy against plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts must be the original work of the authors and must not have been published previously.

SJST is dedicated to publishing only original content—that is, content that hasn't been published or is undergoing review elsewhere. Turnitin or similar standard software is used by SJST to identify instances of similar and overlapping text in submitted publications. Plagiarism sanctions shall be applied to manuscripts that are discovered to have been used or plagiarised more than 10% (i.e. scientific or fundamental concept of the discipline )from another author's work, whether it has been published or not.

What Constitutes Plagiarism:
We define plagiarism as the use of another's work (including text, ideas, data, or creative expression) without proper attribution. This includes:

· Verbatim copying without quotation marks and citation.

· Substantial paraphrasing of ideas or structure without acknowledgement.

· Reusing one's own previously published work (self-plagiarism) without transparency.

Screening Process:
Every submission is screened using plagiarism detection software. The editorial board assesses any identified overlaps.

Actions Taken:
Manuscripts found to violate this policy will be handled based on the severity of the case:

· Minor Similarity: Returned for revision.

· Substantial Similarity: Immediate rejection.

· Severe Misconduct: Rejection, notification of authors' institutions, and a ban on future submissions.

Post-publication discovery of plagiarism will result in a formal correction or retraction of the article.
